Men’s Variant Jacket

Description:

The insulation piece that breathes where you need it to.

Here's the problem with most down jackets: they put 800-fill everywhere, including your underarms. Great for warmth, terrible when you're moving. You overheat, sweat pools in the pit zone, and suddenly your insulation is working against you.

The Variant Jacket solves this with strategic material placement. 800-fill goose down on your chest and back where you need maximum warmth-to-weight. Proprietary wool batting in the underarms where you need breathability and compression resistance. You get serious insulation that doesn't turn into a sauna when you're generating heat.

Why this design works:

• 800-fill goose down on chest and back for core warmth without bulk
• Wool batting in underarms breathes during high-output efforts
• Compression-resistant construction maintains loft under pack straps
• Lightweight enough for everyday wear, warm enough for mountain conditions
• Strategic material placement eliminates hot spots
• Natural odor resistance from wool components

This is your versatile insulation piece. Cool morning commutes. Alpine starts before dawn. Any time you need warmth but can't afford to overheat when effort levels change.
