Dennys Emerging Pupa

Description:

Dennys Emerging Pupa is a lifelike fly pattern designed to imitate emerging mayflies, midges, caddis, and damsel pupae. The silhouette is a precise, deadringer for the natural form, featuring a UV flashabou wing case that increases visibility and triggers strikes. Fished sub surface, it rewards a deliberate, slow presentation with pauses of 5-7 seconds between pulls to draw tentative takes. Line choice matters: pair the pattern with a stable, controlled rig such as a Camo intermediate or the 7 foot Camo sink tip for depth and drift control.

• Lifelike silhouette matching natural mayfly, midge, caddis, and damsel pupa forms
• UV flashabou wing case increases visibility and triggers strikes
• Subsurface presentation with very slow pulls and 5-7 second pauses
• Explosive takes demand a robust tippet size
• Line compatibility: Camo intermediate or 7 foot Camo sink tip lines
• Designed for calm to moderately moving water where emergers dominate the hatch
