Description:
Westin Anchovy 12cm 60g Mighty Mack
The Westin Anchovy 12cm 60g is a heavy-duty metal jig designed for anglers targeting saltwater predators in deeper water and stronger tidal conditions. Its semi-long profile closely imitates a baitfish, delivering strong attraction through flash and movement.
The wider body design provides excellent water grip, ensuring stability and control even when fishing in wind or fast currents. Its flat sides create an intense flashing effect combined with a fluttering action on the drop, making it highly effective for triggering aggressive strikes.
At 60g, this jig offers excellent casting distance and allows anglers to fish deeper layers efficiently while maintaining good contact with the lure throughout the retrieve.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers
Fishing along Irelands coast often involves deeper water, strong tides, and windy conditions. The Westin Anchovy 60g jig provides the weight and control needed to fish effectively in these environments.
Its ability to stay deeper in the water column makes it particularly useful when pollack and sea bass are feeding below the surface. The flashing action helps attract fish in both clear and slightly coloured water, making it a reliable option across different conditions.
Perfect For
- Pollack fishing in deep water and reefs
- Sea bass fishing in strong tidal currents
- Long-distance casting from rocky shorelines
- Vertical jigging from boats
- Fishing in windy coastal conditions
