Vanford FA

Description:

Shimano Vanford FA C5000XG The Vanford is one of the most sensitive spinning reels in the entire Shimano line-up. The Vanford from the Magnumlite family is perfect for a variety of finesse techniques. It pushes the limits of lightweight technology and offers remarkable finesse that you can actually feel and are sure to appreciate in practice. The starting resistance required to set the Vanford's rotor in motion is almost imperceptible. It's hard to describe the feeling, but when you pick up a Vanford yourself, you immediately know what we mean. With sensitivity comes control, and with control comes better fishing results. It's a win-win situation, and when it comes to finesse rigs, there are very few spinning reels that can compete with the Vanford. Combine it with a high-quality finesse spinning rod and you'll immediately notice an improvement in balance, allowing you to fish more effectively, for longer and with more enjoyment. The sensitivity of the Vanford is partly the result of the 2nd generation MGL rotor, which is manufactured together with the reel body from Shimano's exclusive Ci4+ composite material. This is also the reason why the reel is so light in the hand. Inside the reel, HAGANE Gear, MicroModule II, X-SHIP, InfinityDrive, InfinityXross and Silent Drive work seamlessly together to deliver smooth running and surprisingly powerful performance. In addition, the Vanford benefits from Shimano's advanced Duracross Drag system, which guarantees very precise control of the brake during the fight. To take line management to a new level, the new Anti-Twist Fin technology prevents the line from sagging between the line roller and the spool, which is extremely advantageous when fishing with light lures or slackline techniques. Equipped with 7 ball bearings (model 500 with 6 ball bearings). Model C3000SDH has a double handle.

Safety instructions:

- Handle hooks with care: Always cover the fishing hooks or remove them from the rods for transportation. Use corks or hook covers to avoid accidental injury.
- Keep your distance: Fish at least 10 meters away from others to avoid accidents. Watch out for people behind you before casting. Be careful with carbon fiber: Carbon fiber rods are strong but can be brittle. Avoid dropping them or banging them against hard surfaces as this can cause damage.
- Safe transportation: Always take your rod apart and place it in a protective cover during transportation to prevent damage from external influences.
- Carbon fiber rods conduct electricity. Do not use them during thunderstorms or near power lines.
- Never try to pull lures or leaders out of trees or bushes by applying pressure to the rod and fishing line. This can result in the bait/lead being catapulted towards the angler. Use only your hands to free the bait/lead.

- Train beginners: Instruct children and beginners in the safe handling of rods and hooks to minimize risks.
- Safety distance: Always keep a distance of at least six meters from high-voltage power lines when carrying or using fishing rods.
- Avoid high sticking: Do not bend your rod too much while you are drilling a fish, which is known as high sticking. Hold the rod at a maximum loading angle of 45 to 60 degrees to avoid breakage.
- Aligning the rod for snags: If your lure snags, keep the rod pointed at the hook while walking backwards to reduce the strain on the rod.
- Be careful with carbon fiber: Carbon fiber rods are strong but can be brittle. Avoid dropping them or banging them against hard surfaces as this can cause damage.
- Safe transportation: Always take your rod apart and place it in a protective cover during transportation to prevent damage from external influences.
