Tsunami Weighted Holographic Teaser Eel

Description:

Tsunami Weighted Holographic Teaser Eel

4" weighted teaser. Holographic finish. Pre-rigged for plug trailing.

The Tsunami Weighted Holographic Teaser Eel is the pre-rigged soft-plastic teaser built to run behind plugs or as a dropper rig in front of metals. At 4" and 1/4 oz, it's sized to look like a sand eel or small baitfish the size that triggers reaction strikes from stripers, blues, and false albacore when they're keyed on small bait. The holographic finish catches light from every angle, and the built-in weight gets the eel down behind a swimming plug so it tracks naturally instead of riding on top. Two proven colors cover most baitfish-matching scenarios. At $6.49, you can stock a few and not cry when one gets bitten off.

Why We Like It

Teaser rigs are one of the highest-leverage techniques in striper fishing running a small teaser ahead of a plug or above a metal often doubles your hook-up rate because it gives fish a choice and triggers competitive strikes. The Tsunami Holographic Teaser at $6.49 is the value pick in pre-weighted teasers; the holographic finish actually does pull more strikes than matte finishes, and the pre-weighting saves you from having to add split shot. Worth keeping a half dozen in the bag for the days when fish are picky.
