TMC 101 Dry Fly Hook

Description:

The TMC 101 Dry Fly Hook is built for precision in tiny dry fly work. It is the same as the TMC 100 except it features a ring-eye, making it a strong choice for fly tying. Best for midge sizes, the down-eye closes the hook gap and improves presentation in calm or flowing water. This hook is favored when tying size 18 and smaller.

• Ring-eye design for precise line tracking and presentation
• Down-eye geometry reduces hook gap for small midge patterns
• Optimized for tying size 18 and smaller dry flies
• Similar profile to TMC 100 with ring-eye enhancement

Ring-eye design improves line control, tracking, and strike indication for micro patterns, while the down-eye geometry minimizes the gap on small midges, promoting clean, timely hook sets. Precision comes from a profile that stays true to the familiar TMC 100 while delivering a targeted upgrade for tiny dry flies. This makes it a practical choice for anglers who tie and fish size 18 and smaller.
