Shor – Bronze Mallard Large

Description:

Shor Bronze Mallard Large Classic natural feathers for wings and traditional patterns.

Shor Bronze Mallard Large feathers are a timeless fly-tying material prized for their rich brown mottling, durability, and natural sheen. Traditionally used for salmon, steelhead, and wet fly wings, these larger feathers provide the volume and coverage needed for bigger patterns. Their stiff, uniform fibers make it easy to shape clean, consistent wings, while their natural colour adds authenticity to both classic and modern designs. Ideal for spey flies, traditional trout wets, and elegant salmon patterns, Bronze Mallard remains one of the most versatile and dependable feathers in fly tying.
