Shimano Sephia Clinch Excounter 3.8

Built for big, aggressive squid, this heavy-hitting Egi delivers maximum strike power and confidence in tough conditions.

The Shimano Sephia Clinch Excounter 3.8 is designed for Aussie anglers chasing larger squid along beaches, breakwalls, rocky headlands, and deep inshore reefs. With a longer 3.8 body and enhanced hooking hardware, its made to withstand powerful grabs from oversized cephalopods that smaller jigs struggle to handle.

Engineered for stability, visibility, and long-distance casting, the Excounter cuts through wind, tracks true on the drop, and offers exceptional balance to maintain a lifelike prawn-style glide. Its textured cloth body and vibrant colour patterns are built to stand out in cloudy water, low light, deep water, and night sessionsgiving anglers the edge when targeting wary or trophy-size squid.

Designed for serious Egi anglers wanting reliable performance session after session, this is the jig you tie on when you want maximum presence, strong hook-ups, and consistent results.

Perfect your presentation and turn more follows into committed strikes with confidence.
