Savage Gear Low Glider Jerkbait 14.5cm 78g SS CL Roach

Description:

Savage Gear Low Glider Jerkbait 14.5cm 78g SS CL Roach Glide bait for pike fishing in Ireland

The Savage Gear Low Glider Jerkbait 14.5cm 78g SS CL Roach is a powerful glide bait designed to reach the depth where large pike are often waiting. With a lively left-to-right swimming action and strong belly flash, this lure creates the appearance of an injured baitfish that predators find difficult to resist. The natural roach-style colour pattern closely imitates common prey fish found in Irish waters.

Diving to around 1.52.0 metres, the Low Glider is designed to be worked slowly along drop-offs, weed edges, and underwater structure where pike often hunt. Its erratic glide combined with a loud tubular rattle helps attract attention even in coloured water or windy conditions.

The lure features a tough PU foam-filled body and strong thru-wire construction that gives it the strength required for powerful predator fishing. Combined with forged split rings and ultra-sharp SGY treble hooks, it provides the reliability anglers need when targeting large pike.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

Pike in Irish lakes and canals frequently hold near drop-offs, structure, and deeper margins where prey fish pass through. The Savage Gear Low Glider Jerkbait is designed to work exactly in these zones. Its slow gliding action and flashing belly imitate a struggling baitfish, helping to trigger reaction strikes from nearby predators.

The built-in rattle allows fish to detect the lure even in peat-stained or low-visibility water often found in Irish venues. By using slow jerks and pauses, anglers can create an erratic movement that encourages big pike to commit.

Perfect For

• Pike fishing on Irish lakes and large loughs
• Working drop-offs and underwater structure
• Fishing canals and deeper drains
• Targeting large predators in slow rivers
• Anglers using jerkbait and glide bait techniques
