Rio Direct Core Jungle Series Fly Lines

Description:

SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR ANGLERS FISHING IN TROPICAL HEAT with multiple density options to cover all species

RIOs JUNGLE SERIES of fly lines are designed to withstand the heat of tropical and jungle destinations. Each line is built on RIOs lowmemory DirectCore that is extremely easy to anneal (stretch) and lies perfectly straight on the water, yet retains the stiffness needed to cast in hot conditions. Each line has a short, quickloading head that will easily cast and turnover typical large flies, and a range of density options ensures anglers are covered for all species, conditions and waters.

The F/I has a floating running line, with a 30ft intermediate head, of which the front 10ft is clear.
The F/S3 is a floating line with the front 20ft of type 3 sinking (3-4" ips).
The F/S6 is a floating line with the front 20ft of type 6 sinking (6-7" ips)

The core strength of this line is as follows:
WF7 = 30lb
WF8 = 40lb
WF9 - WF10 = 50lb

• Powerful front taper that delivers larger flies with exceptional ease
• Perfect for jungle species such as Peacock Bass, Dorado and Pacu
• Easy annealing, low-memory core that lays perfectly straight
• Hard, tropical coating that will not wilt in the heat
• Color: Green/Pale Orange

Technology:
DirectCore- In hot, humid conditions, DirectCore lines provide the stiffness you need to fire into the wind, with significantly reduced memory. Which means your line lies straighter on the water for a more direct connection to fly and fish. DirectCore is also 25% stronger than other monofilament cores of equal size, and stretches 30% less at breaking point. In short, DirectCore makes you a better angler on the flats, in the mangroves and off the beach.

Extreme Slickness- With XS Technology, RIO has developed a fly line that is slicker, more stable, and far less apt to attract dirt, and paired with AgentX Technology, it engineers a line that is less dense, casts further and more accurately, floats higher, lasts longer, and offers more consistent performance cast after cast, strike after strike, fish after fish.

Features:
DUALTONEis a system perfected by RIO that marks the sweet spot of a fly line by providing an obvious color change in the line. With the DualTone system it is easy to see how much line to strip in, where to pick up a cast, how much line can be held in the air when false casting, and when to make the final cast.

FRONT & BACK WELDED LOOPA neat, bullet-proof welded loop on the end for fast rigging.
