Morris Grabriels Trumpet

Description:

Morris Grabriels Trumpet is a bright, fast-sinking attractor nymph designed to pull trout in rivers and lakes. The gold version remains the reliable standard for this pattern, delivering visibility and depth when current and light conditions challenge the angler. Its compact silhouette and proven pull in the drift create confident takes from wary fish.

This fly cuts through riffles and midstream currents with a compact profile and an active underbody that triggers feeding instincts in wary fish. It shines when other patterns fail, catching finicky, selective trout that respond to high-contrast color and fast descent. Designed for fly fishing nymph rigs, it pairs with standard leader systems for quick setup and consistent performance. It performs across light levels and water colors, from clear streams to stained lakes, making it a dependable option in mixed conditions.
