Loco Legs

Description:

Hareline Loco Legs

Loco Legs aren't just named for funthese translucent rubber legs actually move like they've had too much coffee. The combination of flexibility and subtle color makes them perfect for patterns where you need movement and a hint of lifelike translucency without overpowering the fly.

Why Translucent Matters

Unlike opaque rubber legs that just sit there looking rubbery, Loco Legs have a translucent quality that mimics the natural appearance of insect legs, shrimp appendages, and crab claws. Light passes through them just enough to create a realistic look, while the color adds a subtle hint that catches a fish's eye without screaming "I'm fake!"

Perfect For Tying

• Bonefish Flies:Crab and shrimp patterns where translucent legs make all the difference
• Streamers:Add wiggling appendages to baitfish patterns and leeches
• Nymphs:Stoneflies, caddis, and mayfly patterns with lifelike legs
• Bass Bugs:Poppers and divers that need legs with attitude
• Saltwater Patterns:Shrimp, crabs, and anything that needs realistic appendages
• Crayfish Imitations:Claws and legs that move independently in the current

The Movement Factor

Loco Legs pulse and wiggle with even the slightest movement, creating the kind of lifelike action that makes fish commit. They're soft enough to move naturally but durable enough to survive multiple fish and aggressive casts.

Tying tip:Don't trim them too shortlonger legs create more movement and can always be trimmed down if needed. You can't add length back once it's gone.

Available in translucent colors that range from subtle to "fish can't help but notice.
