Galloup’s Downed Caddis

Description:

Galloups Downed Caddis Dead-drift caddis imitation for selective trout.

Galloups Downed Caddis is a highly effective pattern designed to imitate drowned or struggling adult caddis caught in the surface film. With its low-riding profile, soft hackle, and realistic body, it perfectly mimics the vulnerable stage when trout feed aggressively during and after caddis hatches. Ideal for fishing in riffles, runs, and pools, it can be fished dead-drift, twitched, or skated to trigger strikes. A proven pattern from Kelly Galloup, the Downed Caddis is a must-have for anglers targeting selective trout in rivers and streams.
