Emergent Sparkle Caddis Pupa

Description:

Emergent Sparkle Caddis Pupa is a lifelike caddis emerger designed by Gary LaFontaine. This pattern captures the subtle shimmer of emergers and rides true in current, helping you entice finicky trout during the caddis season. Use as an emergent stage fly to exploit the emergent feeding window and improve strike opportunities in riffles, seams, and slow runs. The hair wing is dressed with floatant for buoyancy and profile, helping the fly ride high while the lifelike body mimics the pupal form. Pairing with standard trout leaders and indicator rigs, it shines in light chop or overcast days when emergers are most visible. The combination of a buoyant wing and a lifelike body encourages a take as trout inspect the exit of the pupa, improving timing and presentation in current.
