Description:
Elk Hair Caddis Grey A high-floating dry fly for classic caddis hatches.
The Elk Hair Caddis Grey is a timeless pattern that perfectly imitates adult grey caddisflies, a favorite meal for trout across rivers, streams, and lakes. Its buoyant elk hair wing keeps the fly riding high, while the grey body blends seamlessly with natural insects on the water. The palmered hackle adds extra floatation and movement, ensuring lifelike action in riffles, runs, and still pools. Durable and versatile, this pattern is effective throughout the season and remains a staple in every anglers dry fly box.
