Description:
Dark in looks and unmatched in style and swagger the 2018 Ryoga baitcaster sets a new standard in baitcaster power, performance and precision.
Integrating many of Daiwa's most famous technologies the Ryoga once again takes baitcaster design to the next level with a host of advanced and precision focused new features standing this reel out from the pack when it comes to heavy-duty baitcaster excellence.
Daiwa's Hyper Mesh gear system, Magseal, Magforce Z, Speed Shaft, and the legendary ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) lead the charge when it comes to features, while a G1 Duraluminium spool, Zero Adjuster, and Swept Handle further enhances the reel's cutting edge performance and control.
An ultra strong, alloy frame and side plates is the foundation of the Ryoga and provides an immoveable platform for this stunning reel, regardless of what's thrown at it. Solid and assured in the angler's hand the Ryoga has few peers when it comes to palm-ability for a larger, barrel profiled baitcaster.
Continuing its trend for innovation the Ryoga features Magseal technology, a design evolution that delivered unrivaled protection since introduced into the Daiwa spin reel line-up in 2010. Located on the pinion gear in the main gear side plate, Magseal prevents water and salt intrusion into the reel to significantly increase reel protection and performance. Slamming the door shut on unwanted intruders Magseal technology is baitcaster protection and design advancement like you've never before.
Ryoga's High Mesh gear system delivers a level of gear smoothness and strength like we've never seen before with its oversized, precision cut, multi teethed gears ensuring ultimate cranking smoothness, refinement and strength.
Cranking power and balance is further enhanced with a 90mm Swept Handle bringing the balance point of the handle closer to the centre of the reel and when combined with the new High Grip I Shape knobs provides unmatched cranking power, balance and control.
Giving you the power to seize the moment is Daiwa's innovative ATD drag system. Powerful and unyielding ATD gives you the power to take control of whatever crosses your angling path. A new large clicking machined aluminium star drag puts this control in easy reach, with its super light, ergonomic design making it easier than ever to crank the power up when needed.
The Ryoga's Zero Adjuster allows for effortless, trouble-free cast control setting, while the Speed Shaft free floating spool, G1 Duraluminium spool, and legendary Magforce Z cast control system delivers trouble free, effortless casting performance, regardless of the wind or the size of the lure being used.
Flawless in design, stunning in looks and style, and unparalleled in performance and power, the new Ryoga is the most revered heavy duty baitcaster Daiwa has ever produced and the ultimate big bait reel. Feel Alive, feel Ryoga.
