Betts Standard Z-Lon

Description:

Betts Standard Z-Lon Durable synthetic fiber for wings, shucks, and sparkle.

Betts Standard Z-Lon is a versatile fly-tying material widely used for trailing shucks, spinner wings, and subtle accents. Its fine, crinkled synthetic fibers create a realistic, translucent effect in the water, imitating the sheen of emerging insects and spent wings. Stronger and more durable than many natural substitutes, Z-Lon holds its shape well and resists matting even after multiple fish. Available in a wide range of colours, it allows tiers to match specific hatches or build bold attractor patterns with ease. Lightweight and simple to tie with, Betts Z-Lon is a staple material for both trout and salmon patterns.
