Badger 5″-7″ Strung Saddle Hackle

Description:

Badger 5"-7" Strung Saddle Hackle is a precision choice for streamer tying. Strung Badger saddle feathers provide ready-to-use material for streamer bodies with a clean, consistent profile.

The 57 inch length standardizes feather size across batches, supporting predictable wraps and symmetry in your patterns. Naturally dark centers create a defined line along the fly, adding contrast and helping the pattern stay crisp.

Because these are strung saddle hackles, handling during tying is straightforward, letting you focus on overall pattern balance. This selection pairs well with other saddle hackles in a standard tying kit, offering flexibility for varied streamer builds. Strung construction keeps fibers aligned, reducing tangling during wrap and ensuring a clean profile from base to tip. The result is a reliable, repeatable material you can trust across tying sessions. Color contrast from natural dark centers helps maintain a crisp silhouette even as body underlayers vary. Designed to pair with other saddle hackles in a standard tying kit, this selection adds flexibility for varied streamer builds without complicating the workflow. Add to your fly-tying kit to elevate your streamer patterns.
