Griffith’s Gnat

Description:

Griffiths Gnat A tiny dry fly with big results.

Griffiths Gnat is a classic midge cluster imitation that remains one of the most effective small dry flies ever tied. Its peacock herl body and palmered hackle create a natural shimmer and buggy footprint, perfectly mimicking groups of midges or other small insects trapped on the waters surface. Deadly during heavy midge hatches, its equally effective as a general searching pattern when trout are sipping tiny bugs in calm water. Simple, durable, and time-tested, Griffiths Gnat belongs in every anglers fly box. Shop online or visit Drift Outfitters in Toronto for expert advice and fast shipping across Canada.

A minimum quantity of 2 flies of the same size has been set for this item due to the staff time and labour it takes to fulfill fly orders. In our experience it's always nice to have a spare if you happen to lose one on a rock or tree branch too!
