Spoon El Patron (Lava Rocks)

Description:

Monkey Lures Spoon El Patron (Lava Rocks) The Monkey Spoon from Monkey Lures comes in 3 different shapes and different weights, covering a wide range of applications and making it a kind of secret weapon for trout fishing. These lures also score points with their unusual designs and attention to detail, which makes them a must-have for trout area enthusiasts. The finish of the lures is very high quality and designed in the well-known and popular Monkey Lures patterns. These are protected from damage, such as during transportation, with a double layer of clear varnish.
Their design also creates a certain on-off effect in the water, caused by the fact that the sides of the individual lures are designed differently. This creates a double attraction effect for salmonids, firstly thanks to the mentioned visual stimuli and secondly due to the pressure waves generated by the spoon. A weight has been stamped on the back to prevent long searches. The Monkey Spoons have been specially developed based on the conditions on trout lakes and this is also reflected in the hook used, which was specially produced by Monkey Lures.
It is made from a high quality material to extend its lifespan, as well as a special hook shape that optimizes the usual properties of a spoon hook and counteracts the false bite rate. Even the lightest of bites stick to this hook as it has a shortened hook shank and a hook that is parallel to the point. The tip also points 7 to the right for an increased hooking rate if the hook hangs crosswise in the fish's mouth. Meanwhile, the matt black color of the hook and snap ring serve to avoid scaring off the cunning and sometimes shy salmonids, as light reflections are minimized and the focus is fully on the attractive decorations.

The El Patron spoon weighs 2.5 g and has a teardrop shape as well as a certain versatility that makes it a real secret weapon. This type of lure starts to work even at the slowest retrieving speed by generating relatively strong pressure waves through lateral break-out movements and this high-frequency run is reinforced by the thin material. This makes it easy to attract the attention of the trout.
Its weight makes the El Patron perfect for searching the upper and middle layers of water. To get the maximum functionality out of the Monkey Spoons, it should be cranked in linearly at slow to medium speed, but you can also let it sink and then jig it.
