Shimano TRX150XGA Tranx 150 Baitcasting Reel

Description:

A saltwater workhorse perfect for lighter inshore applications, the Shimano Tranx 150 Baitcasting Reels were designed with Texas and Gulf Coast wading anglers in mind. The Tranx 150 expands the Tranx lineup with the smallest, most versatile offering yet. This compact 150-sized baitcaster offers the palmability of equally sized freshwater reels with enhanced durability to hold its own in harsh saltwater environments. Utilizing a rigid HAGANE Body for maximum toughness, the Tranx 150's frame resists flexing during tough battles against hard charging snook, redfish, and other inshore brutes. The use of CoreProtect technology gives the Tranx 150 the protection it needs for tough saltwater exposure. A protective coating applied to critical areas, CoreProtect ensures water beads up and rolls off the reel to reduce water intrusion for added durability in the fight against corrosion. To help stop the toughest inshore predators in their tracks, Shimano's Cross Carbon Drag provides the stopping power anglers can rely on, while delivering smooth and dependable drag performance across the entire drag range. Not limited to just Southeastern and Gulf Coast anglers, Northeasterners will find the Tranx 150 perfect for anything from jigging for fluke to casting small baits to school sized stripers. Simply put, the Tranx 150 is the ideal low-profile reel for inshore applications along any coast.
